my favorite is the condom dress hahahahaha...but i agree with everyone else. some of these dresses (def not all) are not slutty but the model is in a suggestive pose. there are some that i actually like :P
others arent slutty or pretty they are just ugly or they are made of recycled materials ( i think that is pretty cool) i recognized the blue cup one from project runway

Wow, I am very modest (as in I don't show any cleavage, wear short skirts, belly, etc.) But I am still wondering how some of these dresses can be called "slutty". Most ARE very immodest for a teenage girl to wear for sure; but quite a few of them are just ugly or weird, but not slutty. Several of them are even modest enough for me to wear them; although I think they are ugly lol. Overall very bad photo gallery, it really should have been divided into a couple galleries: Slutty teen prom dresses and weird/unique prom dresses.

I don't know who decided on which photos would be included but I stopped halfway through because the ONLY truly slutty dress I saw was the first one that's before you even start the slide show. Some of them may not be appropriate for young girls to wear but where does it state that these were designed to be prom dresses? Only a few dresses were pushing the line if worn on an adult woman, either. I expected to see more like the first pic. Now THAT made me think OMG!

i agree with most of comments, these aren't that slutty. #1 is definitely wrong for ANYBODY let alone teenagers but the rest of them, i think Taylor Swift has worn them and no one thinks of her as slut. i think the people who put this gallery together are over reacting just a bit.
Speaking from the teenagers point of view; seriously!? if you think a slit to the knee or a dress thats longer than your calf is slutty that might be great for you but just because the dress goes a little bit above your knee dosent mean your going to go lifting it up like thos girls in the pictures. and honestly you cant tell me you havent worn anything before that your parents deemed as inapropriate.I hope you realize that you could have ruined some girls prom if her mom saw the dress her daughter wanted on here and it was one of the ones that werent even slutty.
Slutty?
A couple of them are hideous maybe...but very few of them are indecent or 'slutty' at all.
The sluttiest one is a computer generated advert forming a dress shape out of water splashes. Perhaps a little revealing and see-through for prom, but I wouldn't imagine that would be a problem considering daughters would have distinct difficulty getting water to stay where they wanted without a computer graphics package with them. It bunches around the ankles so easily.
And I happen to agree with father of 2 boys, Simon. We worry about the fashion image causing teenage girls to be anorexic, only to have 'Mom logic' show them a series of dresses labeling each one as slut? Wand an iron boot to crush any more confidence out of young girls? I'm sure it'll be real easy for you...why not target ugly hair or tarty make up next?
I'd like to know just who put that collection together, and ask them just how they come to the conclusion that even half of those dresses are slutty. Maybe a handful of them could be considered as such, but the rest are either in just bad taste or a few were actually kind of cute.
What constitutes slutty? From one perspective (mine, as a 40 year old male) is that I'd have sex with any one of these hotties if they were at least 18.
That's assuming a lot... because I'm sure they wouldn't want to have sex with me. And, for the record, I really wouldn't, because I'm happily married and was just making a point.
But the point is this... prom dresses are a celebration of a tradition, and the trend towards sexiness in so many areas of our culture has desensitized the average person to what is inappropriate for a high school girl to wear to prom. These "looks" are designed to arouse and to attract sexual attention. And there is no denying that, and in my humble opinion, the bigger issue of rampant teenage promiscuity and a culture that is stoking that particular fire is what saddens me.
That was so ridiculous and misleading! There were only about 5 dresses that could've been classified as "slutty". Most of the dresses were just ugly, like the denim thing, the pregnant prom frock, and number 59 that looked like a blue condom. Plus 73 was an ad for flip flops and 68 was an ad campaign for peta with Cloris Leachman which has nothing to do with prom, teenagers, or sluttiness! what a photo gallery.

Are you mormons?
becuase only about one of every five is all that bad.
nd number 21 is really actually pretty.
most of the rest are just ugly, and nobody would consider them anyways.
Most of these are really nice but after looking at a bit more than a dozen I have to say none of them are appropriate prom dresses. "Slutty?" A couple. There's a lot of ground between "inappropriate for a prom" and "slutty."

Okay, I really don't see how number 64 is slutty at ALL. Sure, it looks awful, but she's wearing an extremely long dress with a jacket, and it isn't even low-cut. Who picked out these pictures? Most of these look like your average party dress.

Seriously, a cut up the side of a dress showing a little leg is slutty? Are you from 1893? Worthless gallery.
