Most aren't that bad, some too short some cut a bit low...but the worst is the first one.

One more thing I wanna comment on......most of these dresses are really ugly and plain. What's up with that?

I really didn't like was the first red one that looked like it was on backwards. That was rediculous. Most of them I didn't have an issue with. They do appear to be short, but models are tall so the dresses they model do appear shorter on them then they probably will your teenager. I'm not crazy about having the entire stomach out of a dress either, or having a cut that goes from the cleavage to thier belly button......that's definantly sending the wrong message. You can be sexy and classy, actually classy is usually more sexy. These teenage girls really need guidance, they truley have no idea what they are up against. I remember when I used to think that boys were my "friends" LOL. Like Dave Chapelle said once (reguarding women who dress sexy but claim they aren't trying to get attention from men) that he was going to dress like a police officer and say "don't be treating me like a policeman just cuz I'm dressed like one!" or something like that...

Some of these i dont think were intended for prom dresses. I think most of them might be from dancer's catalouges. Ballroom dancing usualy has those kind of dresses. And i belive as long as no "hooh-has" are showing and its not like "accsess boobage" then its okay

First off, most of these dresses are worn by models who are over 5' 9". I'm 5' 9", and I am most Defintely too tall for most of these dresses, but my 5' nothing sister, she'd be fine. Plus think of body type. If you're thin and short, dresses lay longer. Now I'm not going to wear a dress with a slit completely up the side with my cleavage bouncing everywhere to prom, but most of these dresses are holly wood party dresses. This is the new 'it' thing now. You should see what we are forced to wear in my sorority; doesn't even compare. So if a girl chooses to wear any, so be it. Blame society, parents, whatever. Either way, whether the world likes it or not, society changes and so do hair/wardrobes/ and ideals. So this should seriously, be nothing new lol.

First off...i'm a freshman in college...and some of these aren't that bad... but what high school would let a girl into prom with a dress like number 1 one....i know that more than half of these dress wouldn't have been let into my prom...for either length or lowness of the cleavage area...to answer your question...yes most of them are too racy...but to answer another more obvious question...would a normal non-hollywood movie high school let the girls wear dresses like these...no...absolutely not...I think girls should have more respect for themselves...if you don't respect yourself...no guy will...and I promise that it is not hard to find a prom dress that is appropriate and still makes you feel like a drop dead gorgeous princess...i did it and so can every other girl.
