That isnt even jessica alba on the right. That was an imitation photoshop. People are so gullible. Its not even the same background so how can u compare the two shots?

Fantastic. Show the world the pictures are altered for beauty. No one is perfect, everyone has something less than ideal about them...be it cellulite, jiggly arms, etc. Young girls should realize that being healthy is a better goal than being thin.

Haha, they actually made Eva Langoria's thigh and butt _bigger_! Guess she wasn't curvy enough for them. Wow, they reduced part of Penelope Cruz' ribcage to make her look even skinnier. My friend who worked at Cosmo showed me a picture of Cindy Crawford before and after photoshop. They actually made her waist and thigh smaller! Well, I'm glad the pictures look perfect, but everyone has to understand that no-one actually looks like that in real life. Not even Cindy Crawford. . Thanks for posting all these though. Good to know that the media thinks that even people like Cindy Crawford and Jessica Alba aren't perfect enough looking for them.

Everyone should get a grip! Who wouldn't want to have minor flaws fixed in a picture? The women all look beautiful in both pictures. Their "flaws" are so miniscule-these women work hard to have great skin and bodies and it shows in both the 'before' and 'after' photos!

They are beautiful women-but lets be serious-they photoshop these pics because if they dont then these women look like beautiful AVERAGE/EVERYDAY women--they are suppose to look above that in magazines-

Changing the tone or lighting in a photo has been done for decades! Why ruin a good pose just because the lighting was poor OR the wrong speed film was used! As far as body morphing (changing the shape of one's body) I really don't see anything drastic in ANY of these photos! The fist subject (Jessica Alba) is shown above in two SEPARATE shots altogether! Those two shots of here are not the same! For one, the body angle/position is different and second, the background is not the same in each! If you're going to show a side by side for contrast, at least use the SAME photo! Models are used to "sell" magazines, perfume etc because they add aesthetic appeal to the advertisement! ANYONE who tries to emulate these "models" is dong so because they are NOT happy with themselves. Most of these people work extremely hard to achieve and maintain they way they look! IT'S THEIR JOB. If they showed up in the next blockbuster film overweight and frumpy, they would be out of work! J~

I have two girls, 16 and 20, and I've always taken every opportunity to show them these kinds of sites. They are usually shocked at the what before pictures look like - and, like the previous comment, I've seen worse. It's so important for girls to know and believe that the images that compare themselves to are real. The pressure is ridiculous, and the majority of teenage boys are absolutely not helpful in any way, to say the least. So, moms — make your girls sit down with you and view this and other sites like it. You can google "Photoshop retouching" and find enough to keep you busy for a day or two.

Although I am far from the way these women look normal or distorted, my boyfriend still loves me the way I am- no matter my waist size or complexion. And that's the one opinion that actually counts. :-) I hope these women feel secure enough to know that we love them for who they are and not for how closely they resemble Barbie.

Jessica Alba, I think, actually looks better in the REAL photo. Why do they have to try to make her "perfect"? No REAL woman looks like that... Not EVER HER!!!

they did add weight to Eva's legs, butt & arms, but also made her waist a lot smaller than the original. Making her look like a modern day barbie from the waist down. Some didnt look that much changed, Like Jessica Alba & Katherine Heigl looked gorgeousness in both. Ive seen a lot worse photo retouching from the stars, i think some of these photos were already half retouched in their "befores"

I don't mind when they brighten the colors of the photos, making them more vibrant. Maybe even editing out some uneven glare on the skin from the lighting in the room. But when they start changing complexion, wrinkles, the size of a woman's WAIST... I no longer see the point. All of those women are beautiful as they are. I hate when photoshop is taken too far. It's so obvious, and when I see it, it looks as bad as a poor Botox treatment.
