Sadly, she didn't chose the Michael Kors in any color. I recommend some fashion advice on a contemporary yet classic look that suits her. Her dress will be on the worst dressed list surely...

The Isaac Mizrahi dress is exquisite; or the Michael Kors; or my third choice the Karl Lagerfeld. The Diane Von Furstenberg is pretty, but I would think it should be green or blue.

I love the blue dress by Michael Kors. Of course, some brilliant diamond medium-length earings and long white gloves would complete the exquisite look with a wide diamond bracelet.
A white suit for the inauguration, but not the one pictured. One with a silk turtleneck under it because it's going to be COLD, and maybe a cape or coat to go over it all that would flare but be slimming, too.
I just think she will wear what suits her---- not what everybody wants her to wear. She is not the classy lady look as she is simple and very plain. She needs to wear something subtle and not over flattering or she will look phony. She needs to have her hair and makeup do the trick.
Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld or Diane von Furstenberg would all be lovely. She's done pretty well so far, minus the black and red number on election night (very unflattering, as it made her hips look too wide). She's smart; she'll do fine. Note: my preference, stay away from Carolina Herrera who once reportedly said, regarding fur, "Isn't that what animals are for?" Total turn off!!!
I love the beautiful blue gown as well
as the gorgeous red by Monique. The white suit would be perfect for the
Inauguration ceremony. For those who don't care, stay away and don't make negative comments! We LOVE our new first
family!!

OOOPs! I thought the comment would only show on the photo I was highlighted on - I picked Michael Kors beautiful blue gown. Lagerfelds suit for the day and Mizrahi for the girls.

I love this for Michelle. With her coloring I think the blue will give her a warm glow - especially with the "soft" shimmer to it. However, if the girls attend the ball Mizrahi has wonder ideas for them. I also liked that Lagerfeld didn't just design for the ball but also took into consideration the actual swearing in ceremony that day. Lagerfeld's ball gown is also nice but lacked a powerful coloring for Michelle.

I vote for the Kors design - in white instead of blue.
