Eric knows what he's talking about. The American public has been so brain washed by media and loud mouth politicans, they don't even care about the real issues. ANY person who thinks Palin was a good choice for VP has a very limited IQ. ANY person who thinks she is a good choice to manage ANYTHING really doesn't know anything about her. SHE DIDN"T KNOW THAT AFRICA WAS A CONTINENT! And after she was selected for VP, she stated that she had no idea what the VP does! Thank God she lost. Sarah Palin is one bad ass woman. All of the people who say negative things about her, are only jealous. Carol, the key is in the term "serious political contender". You and I have a certain concept of what that means. But our illusion is that everyone shares that concept. Christopher Hitchens recently described Palin as a proud, boastful ignoramus. He's right, and people LOVE her for it. Because they too are proud ignoramuses. They champion their own small-minded hatred and myopic worldview, and vocally disdain things like science, intelligence, open-mindedness, etc. They might somewhere deep inside recognize their base stupidity, but don’t want to suffer the hurt of fully admitting it. So instead they rally with other stupid people and shout out defiance. Self-improvement is hard, because it requires a humility that can cut too deeply into one's identity and self-worth. With another idiot on a podium in front of them, they can avoid that. For a large portion of our population, she is in fact a serious political contender. It's not about policy, it's about identity - hers and theirs.

Is Palin aware of this calender going for sale? If so how can she really be considered as a serious political contender for the Vice President? It just goes to show that she is a big joke who has questionable friends that would do that to her at least wait until after the election.
