I'm 19, and while looking through these, I remembered I went as a midriff-baring, mini skirted cheerleader for my 13th, with a blue shirt underneath and white tights. When I got there, I discovered 2 sexy blond girls, wearing only aprons. My best friends! 2 sexy maids to a little, underdeveloped cheerleader. They both lost their virginity that night.

I bought a costume similar to the first one, it's a jester. When buying it there were conditions. I said my daughter has to wear leggings underneath and a coat! She said "OF course I'm going to wear leggings, did you see how short it is mom" It can be appropriate if you make them appropriate.

Honestly, the only costumes I found innappropriate were the first one and the minnie mouse costume based on the sillouette and stockings. However, none of these costumes even spoke 'sexy' to me. Some of them were cute but most of them were just children dressed as witches, kittens, and popstars. I don't process those images as sexy and therefore do not see anything innappropriate with them. I DO however see a huge problem with parents looking for 'sexy costumes' and with children that describe themselves as 'sexy'. That is completely a parent's fault and needs to stop.

paedophillia levels... rising.... uncontrollable... Lol, no. But really, if someone slightly paedo-y and they saw kids in this crap, it'd push them over the edge - it'd be a raping spree. I'd never let my kids wear that crap, what happened to childhood? Why does everyone have to be a little slut now as soon as their old enough to grasp the concept? Some of them were alright, the tiger one was just cute, but the others... eesh, scary.

Oh for goodness sake people! It's a costume for Halloween! If you think the costumes are too sexy then don't dress your kids in them! Kids are not "sexy" they are cute. There is a difference. If kids are out trick or treating they should be supervised. You shouldn't have to worry if you are watching your kids and have taught them to make the right choices. Are you ALL so freakin uncomfortable with your own sexuality? Geez! Uptight or what?
