I bought a costume similar to the first one, it's a jester. When buying it there were conditions. I said my daughter has to wear leggings underneath and a coat! She said "OF course I'm going to wear leggings, did you see how short it is mom" It can be appropriate if you make them appropriate.

Honestly, the only costumes I found innappropriate were the first one and the minnie mouse costume based on the sillouette and stockings. However, none of these costumes even spoke 'sexy' to me.
