Yes, I completely agree. As I have aleudld to in prior posts, the new' economy forced me to go with less and actually being happier with less. What I fear is that people will accommodate the inconvenience of the situation for only so long. A great example is fuel prices we piss and moan about the price and when it goes down (temporarily) we resume our regular consumption. The ultimate reality is that the prices are only going to rise over time. Call it highway robbery, but it is reality and understandable for a limited, non-renewable resource. The part I don't get is (again) why diesel is more expensive than gas when it used to not be (and requires less processing). I am resolved to pay more as fuel prices increase but I am miffed that diesel is higher when I can only assume it is due to greed (capitalizing higher demand with more fuel-efficient passenger vehicles). If someone can provide a more correct reason, I'm all ears.
